Racehorse Saved from Slaughter - FL

Injured and abandoned in the auction kill pen, the bid of DreamCatcher Ranch Horse Rescue, Inc. in Florida saved the life of this off track Thoroughbred gelding. States the rescue immediately after their save: “This poor guy looks like he has been through it all. He has a wound on his shoulder, is underweight, looks like he’s never had his teeth done and even has a hole pierced straight through his tongue!” His vet bills are just beginning but thanks to all of you, Saving Baby Equine Charity, donated towards his save and veterinary care.

You can see his auction sticker number was 2222 and he’s getting a second chance at life so he was named “Deuce” until tattoo research reveals his real racing name. Thank you for helping save his life!

“Deuce” a former Thoroughbred racehorse dumped at a Florida auction with these injuries.

Starting to learn love while healing.
